Hypocritical Actions to Ponder

Why do so very many certifiably eligible individuals fail to donate blood or never include themselves as possible matches on bone marrow transplant and organ donor lists when almost all of these people would desperately want these services for themselves if the need arose?
Why do many people enjoy public TV, yet so few ever financially support it?
Should all people judged “able” be required to perform some kind of community service if they are receiving public assistance? Do you know anyone who is “playing the system” and just “sitting around” while his/her labor could benefit the country?
Would Christians say that the greatest single act of community service was Jesus Christ dying excruciatingly painfully on the cross so that they might experience eternally blissful life? If this is so, why do many Christians fail to repay this debt by ignoring meaningful community service? If somebody loaned you a sum of money, would you not pay him back fully? Isn’t the obligation from the aforementioned crucifixion worth a rather substantial remittance from believers to mankind – or at least to their church?
Why do so many citizens seek to avoid jury duty when such service is absolutely critical to our democracy?
What percentage of Catholics do you believe seek absolution for their sins (perhaps mortal ones) but will not forgive other people for their alleged transgressions?
Why can’t many citizens pass a test of important questions regarding our heritage and continually visibly act to demonstrate their appreciation of what American life offers them?
Would you be proud if your community service record were public knowledge? What sacrificial action have you taken to improve the public welfare, or do you only complain and leave the work to others?
How should a good American act? What constitutes a proper American? Is it just living peaceably and legally in our country? If you consistently fly the flag at your home, stand for the national anthem, and always recite the Pledge of Allegiance, do these actions make you more patriotic in totality than someone who does none of them?
Do you follow this statement that my parents told me? “The world would be a better place if you always tried to do more for others than you accepted from them.”
Do you think that the free life with all its wonders and amenities that we possess came easily for our country and will automatically continue forever or do you understand that, in order for posterity to partake of what we have experienced, everyone needs to do more than simply peaceably exist and occupy space?
Has anyone ever called you a “sanctimonious hypocrite” and been correct?
Have you ever done something “rotten” when such action was the last thing you would ever want someone to do to you?
If all public officials want community support, why don’t they perform their job in a cordial fashion? Do they know what this involves and how to do it?
